A white rectangular copy of a paper map of the search crew for Amelia Earhart from the USS Lexington 4 July to 18 July 1937. The top of the map in black ink reads: "Pacific Ocean" across the top. Bellow that it reads: "USS Lexington In Search of Amelia Earhart" The bottom right hand corner has a drawing of a boat. There two lateral parallel lines intersecting with two horizontal perpendicular lines. Where two lines intersect there is a multitude of arrows. Islands included of the map include: Guam, Gilbert Islands, Wake Is., Phoenix Islands, Hawaii, and San Fransisco. On the back and bottom left hand side in black handwritten ink reads: "Lee C Jensen and IA" |
