Description |
A black woman's jacket. The jacket is in the Bolero style. The jacket is wide at the shoulders and continues straight down at the same width. The jacket end at the waist line. From the shoulders extend long sleeves. At the end of the sleeves there is a false button closure. The button is a large dark gray button with a decorative braid near the outside of the button., woman's black jacket. The opening is in a V shape with a collar around the neck. The wings of the collar have two points which is created by a triangular cutout. At the bottom of the V shaped opening, a column of buttons starts. There are three dark gray buttons with the decorative braid design, same as the one on the sleeves. The buttons are on the left side with corresponding button holes on the right side. On the left side, neat the shoulder, is a small U shaped pocket which opens from the top. The bottom of the jacket is curved slightly. The left sleeve is lined with a different fabric than the rest of the jacket; the fabric is a shiny black textile. |
